Indicaciones para llegar
Arrival directions
Casa Laureles es una finca cafetera ubicada a 6 kmts del pueblo de Filandia, en la vereda La Palmera (corregimiento de la India). A continuación te indicamos las indicaciones para llegar si viajas en automóvil privado, o si usas transporte público.
Casa Laureles is a coffee farm located 6 km from the town of Filandia, in the La Palmera village (Corregimiento de la India). Below we indicate the directions to get there if you travel by private car, or if you use public transportation.
Llegando en automóvil privado
Para llegar en carro o moto tendrás que recorrer 3 kmts pavimentados y 3 kmts de vía destapada desde el pueblo. La sección destapada se encuentra en buen estado y no hay riesgo de quedar enterrado. Aún así, hay 2 tramos con algunas piedras grandes, por lo cual tendrás que manejar despacio en esos tramos si viajas en un carro bajo para evitar golpearlo por debajo. Por esta razón, llegar desde el pueblo en un auto bajo toma unos 30 minutos y en una camioneta o moto unos 20 minutos.
Llegada a Filandia
La llegada principal a Filandia es por la autopista del café que conecta las ciudades de Pereira y Armenia. El desvío se encuentra en el punto medio de esta autopista.
También es posible llegar a Filandia desde Quimbaya y hay una vía alterna desde Pereira por el corregimiento de Arabia, pero esta vía solo es apta para camionetas 4x4.
Salida hacia la India
Una vez en Filandia, debes buscar la salida que lleva hacia el corregimiento de La India. Luego debes seguir la carretera por 3 kms.
Salida hacia La Palmera
A los 3 kmts encontrarás una curva cerrada hacia la derecha con una vía destapada que sube hacia al frente. Debes tomar esta vía destapada. En este punto verás una virgen en una construcción blanca con techo de barro y un letrero que dice Selina.

Continúa recto
Luego debes seguir el camino siempre derecho.
Pasa por el caserío
Luego de avanzar 2 kms aproximadamente, verás a tu izquierda un grupo de casas.

Toma la próxima salida
Unos 200 m después del caserío encontrarás una salida a tu derecha, al llegar verás unos postes blancos y unos rieles de cemento que bajan.

Continúa por el camino
Al bajar los rieles verás una casa blanca y morada con una reja metálica. Debes continuar por el camino de la izquierda y pasar otra casa en un segundo piso a tu izquierda.

Haz llegado
A unos 100 m de distancia verás unos rieles a mano derecha y un portón de madera clara. Toma esta entrada y habrás llegado a la finca.
Arriving in a private car / bike
To get here by car or motorcycle from the town, you will have to travel 3 km of paved road and 3 km of unpaved road. The unpaved section is in good condition, and there is no risk of getting stuck. Still, there are 2 sections with some large stones, so you will have to drive slowly on those sections if you are traveling in a low car to avoid hitting it from below. For this reason, getting there from the town in a low car takes about 30 minutes and in a motorcycle or SUV about 20 minutes.

Reaching Filandia
The main route to Filandia is through the "coffee highway" that connects the cities of Pereira and Armenia. The exit to Filandia is located at the midpoint of this highway.
It is also possible to get to Filandia from Quimbaya, and there is an alternate route from Pereira through the village of Arabia, but this route is only suitable for 4x4 trucks.

Exit to La India
Once in Filandia you must look for the exit that leads to the village of La India. Then you must follow the road for 3 km.
Exit to La Palmera
After 3 km you will find a sharp turn to the right with an unpaved road that goes up to the front. You must take this unpaved route. At this point, you will see a virgin statue inside a white construction with a clay tile roof and a sign that says Selina.
Continue straight
Then you must always follow the path wich is straight.
Pass through the hamlet
After advancing approximately 2 km you will see on your left a group of houses on the edge of the road.
Take the next exit
About 200 meters after the hamlet you will find the first exit on your right. When you arrive to this point, you will see several white posts bordering the road and two cement rails that go down.
Continue on the road
When you go down the rails, you will see a white and purple house with a metal fence. You must continue along the path to the left and pass another house on a second floor on your left.
You've arrived
About 100 meters away, you will see some rails on your right and a light wooden gate. Take this entrance, and you will have arrived at the farm.
Llegando en transporte público
Para llegar en tránsporte público a la finca hay 3 alternativas que te nombramos a continuación:
Jeep/Willys Expreso
Esta opción es como tomar un taxi. Encontrarás los jeeps estacionados en fila en uno de los costados del parque principal de Filandia, el precio del viaje hasta la finca es de 35.000 pesos aproximadamente, independiente de la cantidad de personas que viajen.
Al llegar al lugar habla con cualquier conductor y le dices que vas a: Vereda La Palmera - Casa Laureles / Finca de Gloria Salcedo
Te recomendamos acordar el precio del viaje antes de iniciar el viaje.
Jeep/Willys Colectivo
Hay jeeps que viajan a la vereda de 7 a.m a 6 p.m en los siguiente horarios:
Lunes a viernes: 7 a.m, 10 a.m, 12 m, 4 p.m, 6 p.m
Sábados, domingos y festivos: 7 a.m, 9 a.m, 11 a.m, 1 p.m, 4 p.m, 6 p.m
El precio por persona en estos colectivos es de 4.500 pesos y te dejarán a 300 mts de la finca, tendrás que caminar este último tramo para llegar.
Debes llegar 10 minutos antes de la hora de salidad para que consigas un puesto cómodo. Una vez llegues al paradero de los colectivos debes bucar el Jeep que diga Palmera, puedes preguntarle a cualquier conductor o viajero para estar seguro.
Una vez en el Jeep puedes pedirle al conductor que te deje en la entrada a Casa Laureles / Finca de Gloria Salcedo y luego debes caminar hasta la finca.

Transferencias programadas
Si llegas en avión al aeropuerto de Pereira, al aeropuerto de Armenia, o si estarás en algún pueblo cercano (Salento, Santa Rosa, Quimbaya, Montenegro...), podemos programar una recogida desde cualquiera de estos destinos en un automovil pequeño o un jeep.
Los precios son variables, pero oscilan entre los 100.000 y 200.000 por viaje. Puedes escribirnos por whatsapp para cotizar y programar.
Arriving in public transportation
To get to the farm by public transportation, there are 3 alternatives that we name below:
Express Jeep/Willys
This option is like taking a taxi. You will find the jeeps parked in a row on one side of the main park of Filandia. The price of the trip to the farm is approximately 35,000 pesos, regardless of the number of people traveling.
When you arrive at the place, talk to any driver and tell them that you are going to: Vereda La Palmera - Casa Laureles / Finca de Gloria Salcedo
We recommend that you agree on the price before starting the trip.
Colective Jeep/Willys
There are jeeps that travel to the rural district (vereda) from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the following times:
Monday to Friday: 7 a.m., 10 a.m., 12 p.m., 4 p.m., 6 p.m.
Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays: 7 a.m., 9 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m., 4 p.m., 6 p.m.
The price per person on these jeeps is 4,500 pesos and they will leave you 300 meters from the farm, you will have to walk this last path to get to the farm.
You must arrive 10 minutes before the departure time so that you can get a comfortable position. Once you arrive at the bus stop you must look for the Jeep that says Palmera, you can ask any driver or traveler to be sure.
Once in the Jeep you can ask the driver to drop you off at the entrance to Casa Laureles / Finca de Gloria Salcedo and then you must walk to the farm.
Scheduled transfers
If you arrive by plane at Pereira airport, Armenia airport, or if you will be in a nearby town (Salento, Santa Rosa, Quimbaya, Montenegro...), we can schedule a pick-up from any of these destinations in a small car or a jeep.
